Ritter Sport – New display generation

A new concept was implemented for 100 g and 250 g chocolate bars by Ritter Sport. By using of standardized parts (top signs and side panels), both the complexity of the assembly as well as the number of different packaging materials have been reduced. For example, the output with the 100 g ¼ display has been increased by 50 % compared to its predecessor due to the increased degree of automation in the production of the display. At the same time, the amount of ink has been reduced. By optimizing the design, it is now possible with the previously printed chutes to leave the entire area blank. Without needing an additional replenishment system, the consumer is presented with the goods by means of gravity, as the bars simply slide down the inclined chutes. This allows easy removal for consumers. The display contains a high number of goods and the brand values are very well conveyed.
